Congratulations to Dr. Clark Knowlton on acquiring Dr. Asha Orthodontics from Dr. Asha Varma in Sherman, TX in July 2021. Dr. Varma built a strong practice with a great reputation in Sherman for almost 10 years. After considerable contemplation, she decided it was time to phase out of active practice and began looking for a successor. After meeting Dr. Knowlton and getting a chance to learn more about his work experience, Dr. Varma determined they had similar clinical philosophies and he would serve her patients orthodontic needs with care and excellence.
Dr. Knowlton was born and raised in San Diego, California. He attended Brigham Young University and received a degree in Physiology and Developmental Biology with a minor in Business Management. After realizing his desire to become a dentist, he then went on to complete his dental degree from UCLA. From there, Dr. Knowlton did his Orthodontic residency at Montefiore Medical Center in New York City and earned his Certificate in Orthodontics. He has since worked at practices in Santa Fe, New Mexico and Boise, Idaho, gaining valuable hands-on experience. He is a member of several highly regarded professional organizations and has continued to stay up to date with the latest treatment and technology available to best serve his patients. Outside of the office, Dr. Knowlton and his wife and their four children enjoy all types of outdoor activities and look forward to being a part of the Sherman community.
