Congratulations to Dr. Juan Diaz on acquiring the general dentistry practice of Dr. Keith Kriegel in Dallas, TX in December 2021. Dr. Kriegel served the Dallas community for over 42 years, providing an exceptional patient-centered level of care with an emphasis on restorative dentistry. Dr. Kriegel was incredibly active with mission trips all around the world, and always had a strong desire to give back. When the time came for Dr. Kriegel to hang up the handpiece, he was determined to find someone who shared similar treatment philosophies and ethics. Most importantly, he wanted to make sure that his patients and staff would be well taken care of. After meeting and spending some time with Dr. Diaz, he was confident he had found the right person.
Originally from Guadalajara, Mexico, Dr. Diaz was raised in Dallas. After graduating from the University of Texas (Austin) with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology/Minor in Spanish and Business Foundations, Dr. Diaz completed his dental education at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry. He was then chosen to complete the prestigious one-year AEGD (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) program at Texas A&M. The AEGD program provided advanced training in technical aspects of restorative and cosmetic dentistry. From there, Dr. Diaz practiced as an Associate dentist in Dallas for five years, gaining valuable hands-on experience. Like Dr. Kriegel, he is committed to patient centered comprehensive dentistry and he recently became a member of the Pankey Institute!
