We were honored to assist with the transition of Dr. Michael Habern’s longtime orthodontic practice, with locations in Bartonville and Sanger, TX, to Dr. Khushbu Patel.
After more than 40 years in dentistry, Dr. Habern was ready to step away from active practice and begin his next chapter. During his career, he built a respected orthodontic practice and developed lasting relationships with patients and families throughout both communities. Finding the right doctor to continue caring for his patients and staff was extremely important, and after spending time getting to know Dr. Patel, he felt confident she was a great fit for the practice.
Dr. Patel has strong ties to North Texas and brings extensive education and specialty training to the practice. She graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin, attended the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston, and later completed advanced training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at NYU Langone Medical Center.
Since the transition, Dr. Patel has continued serving patients at both locations while putting her own stamp on each practice. The Bartonville office now operates as Gia Orthodontics, while the Sanger office operates as Smilebliss Orthodontics. Across both locations, Dr. Patel remains focused on personalized care, clinical excellence, and building lasting relationships with the families she serves.
