Congratulations to Dr. Robert “Max” Motley and Dr. Nathan Muaina of Sothern Hills Dental on the successful merger of their practices in late 2021. Dr. Motley proudly served the Garland community for almost 40 years and built a great reputation for providing quality dentistry and treating patients like family. When he made the decision to retire, Dr. Motley wanted to be certain that his patients would be well taken care of and wouldn’t have to travel far to continue to receive their dental care. After several meetings and discussions with his colleague and friend, Dr. Muaina, he was confident he had the right person to take over his practice.
Since 2012, Dr. Muaina has served the greater Garland area out of his office, just 3 miles from Dr. Motley’s location. He was chosen as the successor to Dr. Lawson’s practice, and has continued to carry on his legacy while growing the practice and staying up to date with the latest technology and techniques in order to provide the best treatment possible. Dr. Muaina received his dental degree from Case Western in Cleveland, OH and completed a prestigious post-doctoral residency in general dentistry at UT School of Dentistry in Houston.
