Over the years, Dr. Sowell built a practice recognized for clinical excellence, long-term patient relationships, and a commitment to exceptional dental care. As he began reducing his clinical schedule, his vision was to find a clinical partner who shared his philosophy of patient care and could help guide the practice into the future. By remaining actively involved alongside Dr. Chen, patients have benefited from a thoughtful, collaborative transition.
Dr. Chen’s advanced education and clinical training made her an outstanding fit for the practice. She earned her undergraduate degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Harvard School of Dental Medicine, and completed a three-year prosthodontics residency at the University of Illinois in Chicago. She brings expertise in cosmetic, restorative, implant, and full-mouth reconstructive dentistry while remaining committed to compassionate, patient-centered care.
Today, Dr. Chen continues building upon the strong foundation established by Dr. Sowell while introducing advanced technology and specialized expertise to the practice. Patients also continue to enjoy the same familiar team that has been an important part of the office for many years.
